Skeletal remains found in Perry

Skeletal remains have been discovered in the woods behind a Walmart in Perry.

According to officers from the Perry Police Department, a property owner found the remains around 4:00pm Wednesday afternoon.

They also say there's no missing persons case in the area that would offer an explanation.

Authorities have not released the person's race, gender, or whether they think foul play was involved. They also say there's still a long way to go before they identify the person.
