Accused child rapist added to Massachusetts State Police Most Wanted list
Massachusetts State Police added an accused child rapist to the department’s Most Wanted list.
Zion Pierre Vazquez, 31, of Leominster, is suspected of committing multiple sexual assaults against a child who was under 10 years old, police said.
In 2013, following an investigation by Leominster police, an arrest warrant was issued charging Vazquez with rape of a child. Police said he fled the area and has been at large.
Vazquez is Hispanic, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Police said he has multiple tattoos on both forearms, upper arms and shoulders and a mole at the corner of his lip.
Vazquez has an extensive criminal record in Massachusetts and also has previous arrests in Illinois, police said.
In addition to Leominster, he has ties to Fitchburg and other central Massachusetts areas. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 1-800-KAPTURE (800-527-8873).
