Delaware State Police are hoping the public can help locate a wanted assault suspect from Wilmington.
According to authorities, 28-year-old Elias Bustos-Mendoza punched a 25-year-old victim in the face following an argument in the parking lot of El Mariachi restaurant at 519 East Basin Road around 11:10 p.m. on November 30, 2018.
Bustos-Mendoza drove away in a white Dodge Ram occupied by three other subjects after he struck the 25-year-old victim, resulting in the victim heading to the hospital in serious condition. He is wanted on charged of first-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, first-degree reckless endangering, and criminal mischief.
