Dover police are investigating a shooting that occurred around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, January 12, 2020 in the 900 block of West North Street.
The 39-year old male victim called 911 and reported multiple suspects entered the residence and demanded property.
He was then shot four times, according to police.
Police said despite the number of gunshot wounds the man was treated at Bayhealth Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
