A man was shot and killed in Wilmington's Hilltop section over the weekend.
Police were called to the 300 block of North Franklin Street at 10:11 a.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019. There, they found a 48-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound; he was transported to the hospital, where he later died Wilmington police said.
This incident remains under investigation.
