New Orleans activist featured on Hillary Clinton's Instagram account
A New Orleans activist was featured on Hillary Clinton's Instagram account.
It's an audience of more than 4 million people.
Clinton gave Erika Alexander the opportunity to guest host on her social media platform.
Alexander highlighted a New Orleans business.
"They are amazing Black business brand activists," Alexander said. 'The right type of person that her followers need to know about."
Alexander was referencing Blairism, which was founded by native Blair Haley and his husband Brandon.
The business is part fashion, part activism and aims to lift marginalized voices.
Blair is the grandson of Oretha Castle Haley, so activism runs in the family.
The husband duo has been making headlines as of late, and now they are using their time in the spotlight to uplift others.
