Traffic sign in New Orleans displays inappropriate language
Commuters driving on Poland Avenue near St. Claude were stuck in a traffic jam Wednesday after drivers came face to face with a huge traffic control sign displaying inappropriate language. The information flashing on the sign had nothing to do with railroad work that was starting soon; instead, the message displayed was political and obscene. The flashing sign displayed a cuss word directed at Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and mentioned Nazis. People stopped and took pictures, which backed up traffic. The sign was owned by Traffic Solutions, and for the second time, a technician had to come out and change the message and likely the password. The company that owns the sign says if it keeps happening, it may indeed have to just remove it.
