SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Springfield restaurant.
Springfield Police tell 2 NEWS a 15-year-old was arrested Wednesday night and could face charges of attempted murder for shooting a wounding a 16-year-old Wednesday.
The teen is being held at the Clark County Juvenile Justice Center.
The shooting happened outside the McDonald’s on E. Main Street, near Bellevue Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the victim went into the restaurant asking for help.
The victim was taken to Springfield Medical Center before being transported by CareFlight to another undisclosed hospital.
Springfield Police are expected to release more information about the investigation later Thursday.
