Fairview residents participate in Independence Day celebrations

The town of Fairview will be holding Independence Day activities all day long on Thursday.

This year’s theme is “Celebrate America,” and included everything from a 5K Fun Run, to a Craft Show and a Grand Parade.

Fairview residents came out in droves to participate in the many patriotic events, which are all part of the town’s annual festivities.

Fairview resident, Patricia Haught, said “it's almost like a family tradition, everyone comes together and you will see there's a lot of family comradery and a lot of patriotism here in Fairview."

The celebration will end with a firework display.
