Two people from Detroit arrested after over $29,000 in drugs found in Mon County

Two people from Detroit were taken into custody after they were found with over $29,000 worth of drugs in Monongalia County.

According to the Mon County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle was pulled over Thursday morning on Interstate 79. A K9 officer was called in to assist and alerted to drugs in the vehicle.

Deputies found 159 grams of heroin, 47 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of marijuana, and over $360.

Officials say 20-year-old Teron Kelly and 20-year-old Tyvon Dove were taken into custody and are both charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, cocaine, and marijuana.
