The Bridgeport Indians won the Region II tournament today with 256 strokes to qualify for the state tournament for the 16th consecutive season. Robert C. Byrd and Lewis County tied for second place, but the Eagles won the tie breaker to qualify for states for the first time since 2007.

Lincoln's Payton Moore shot an 85 to grab the first individual qualifying spot. Lewis County's Ayden Wyckoff and Herbet Hoover's Bryson Beaver tied for second place, and Wyckoff was able to edge out Beaver in a tie breaker to secure a spot at states.

The West Virginia State tournament will be October 2-3 in Wheeling.
