Here We Grow: New stores, restaurants set to open in Wilmington, Leland
WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - Development in southeastern North Carolina continues to boom with new restaurants and stores set to open in the coming months.
WILMINGTON
The Pointe at Barclay
- I Love Juice Bar - Wilmington
New additions to the lifestyle center continue with the opening of I Love Juice Bar. The juice and smoothie shop opened in November and serves up fresh smoothies, juices, sandwiches, and more.
- Crave Hot Dogs and BBQ
Located in the same building as I Love Juice Bar, Crave is set to open soon. A grand opening date has not been set, but Crave is expected to offer hot dogs, barbecue, and a self-serve beer wall.
- Mr. Bagel Meister
This franchise is set to open at the Pointe in January. Mr. Bagel Meister has another location in Carolina Beach and serves up New York style bagels and sandwiches.
Military Cutoff
- Blaze Pizza
Located across from Mayfaire Town Center, Blaze is scheduled to open on Dec. 20. The fast fired pizza joint allows customers to choose toppings for their own personal pizza. Blaze will be offering free pizzas to customers on Dec. 21.
- West Marine
West Marine, located in the same shopping center as Blaze, will open on Thursday. The boating store sells marine gear, apparel, and more.
LELAND
Ocean Gate Plaza
- Dunkin
After delays, Dunkin, the rebrand of Dunkin Donuts, has finally opened at Ocean Gate Plaza located off Highway 17 next to the Walmart in Leland.
- Hibachi Bistro
Hibachi Bistro is still under construction, but will open in the same plaza.
- Bridgewater Wines
Bridgewater Wines is open at Ocean Gate Plaza. The store sells wines from across the world, many of which cannot be bought in grocery stores.
