WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - When you see PGA Tour winner Brian Harman on the golf course at upcoming tournaments, look for the name of a Wilmington-based company on his attire.

MegaCorp has re-signed with the professional golfer as his title sponsor for the 2019 PGA Tour season.

Harman and the owner of MegaCorp, Ryan Legg, formed a bond during the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship at Eagle Point in Wilmington. Harman won the Wells Fargo Championship that year and Legg signed up to sponsor Harmon shortly after his second PGA Tour win.

Harman and Legg have since become close friends as well as business partners.

“Ryan is a great man and we hit it off really well and we’ve become pretty good friends and for me that’s really important,” Harman said during a visit to the MegaCorp headquarters in Wilmington.

Harman made a 28-foot putt on the 18th hole to win the 2017 Wells Fargo title by one stroke over Dustin Johnson and Pat Perez, who each finished 9-under par.
