Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!
MONDAY
Plenty of sunshine will be around again today. Even with all that sunshine, it will still be a cool afternoon with highs in the 50s.
TUESDAY
While Tuesday will be dry, it will be cooler and cloudy. Clouds will return to North Texas, but most of the area will stay dry during the day. Highs on Tuesday will top out in the upper 40s to low 50s.
TUESDAY NIGHT
Rain will spread from west to east across North Texas. Any rain will mainly be light, but will become widespread heading into Wednesday morning.
WEDNESDAY
A chilly, rainy, and overall gross day in-store. Showers will be around most of the day for the majority of North Texas with temps in the 30s and 40s. The morning and evening commute looks to be pretty messy.
There's even a possibility of a little SNOW or SLEET in parts of North Texas. It's not impossible, but it's not for everyone.
Late Tuesday night into the day on Wednesday a wintry mix of sleet or snow is possible mainly for northeastern parts of North Texas (Sherman to Sulphur Springs to Paris to Texarkana). If this occurs, any accumulation would be light, and icy roads are not likely.
THURSDAY
Lingering showers will be around to start the day mainly from the DFW area to the east. Some thunderstorms are even possible across the eastern half of North Texas, but severe storms are very unlikely.
Those showers will clear off to the east during the day with most of North Texas dry by the afternoon into evening.
When all the rain comes to an end, it looks like most of the area will pick up around 0.50 inches to 1 inch of rainfall. Higher totals are possible to the east with lower totals to the west.
FRIDAY
Skies will clear, and temps will be near normal. A dry day with morning temps in the 30s and afternoon temps in the 50s.
