A newborn became JetBlue’s youngest customer ever when the baby was born on a flight from Puerto Rico to Fort Lauderdale on Friday.

Flight 1954 originated in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was met by medical personnel in Fort Lauderdale “following the onboard delivery of our youngest customer to date,” said JetBlue in a statement provided to NBC Miami.

“We’d like to thank the crew and medical professionals on board for their quick action under pressure, and wish the new mother and son all the best,” JetBlue’s corporate communications manager Jennifer Dang told NBC Miami.

Making the birth even more memorable, JetBlue said the plane that the baby was born on is named “Born to Be Blue.”

The airline tweeted that it wants to rename the plane in honor of the baby.

“Giving storks a day off. With mom’s okay, we’d like to rename “Born To Be Blue” after our newest baby blue and our youngest customer ever. More baby shower gifts to come! #AirBorn,” said JetBlue on Twitter.
