WEBVTT ANNOUNCER: NOW, WGAL NEWS 8’S WEATHER ON THE 8’S, WITH METEOROLOGIST ETHAN HUSTON. ETHAN: IT LOOKS LIKELY THIS IS GOING TO BE THE DRIEST STRETCH OF WEATHER WE HAVE SEEN IN 2018. ONE MORE DRY DAY TODAY. MORE SUNSHINE THIS AFTERNOON -- THIS MORNING. LATER THIS AFTERNOON IT IS GOING TO BE MORE CLOUDS. TALKING A GENERAL LIGHT COATING POSSIBLE AND THEN FOR THE WEEKEND, IT IS GOING TO WARM BACK UP AND I EXPECT WET WEATHER TO BE AROUND FOR QUITE SOME TIME. OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW, EVERYTHING IS CALM. WE ARE DOWN TO 31 DEGREES AND FOR SOME SPOTS, THIS IS ABOUT 15 TO 20 DEGREES WARMER THAN WE WERE AT THIS TIME YESTERDAY. HEADING THROUGH THE DAY, A MIXTURE OF SUNSHINE AND CLOUDS IN THE MORNING. LOOK FOR HIGHS TO BE JUST SHY OF SEASONAL AVERAGES. OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, MOSTLY CLOUDY. TOMORROW, IT BECOMES MORE WIDESPREAD AND THEN IT WILL TAPER OFF AS FLURRIES AND DRIZZLE. THE BEST CHANCE FOR THAT WILL BE NORTH OF THE TURNPIKE. STILL 35 DEGREES IN LEBANON. NOTICE WHEN YOU FACTOR IN THE WIND, IT FEELS A LITTLE COOLER OUT THERE. SUPER DOPPLER 8 IS DRY. WE HAVE THE CLEARING FROM NORTH TO SOUTH. THICKER CLOUD COVER IS BUILDING BACK OVER THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY. THAT IS THE NEXT STORM SYSTEM THAT GETS HERE THIS EVENING. NOTICE THE CLOWN START INCREASING LATER THIS EVENING. WE COULD SEE LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS BACK TOWARD CLEVELAND. THIS IS THAT UPCOMING CLIPPER. THE STORM SYSTEM MOVES THROUGH. WE MAY SEE SOME DRIZZLE LINGERING INTO THE THURSDAY EVENING RUSH. FRIDAY, THE CLOUDS WILL THICKEN BACK UP AND I EXPECT WIDESPREAD RAIN TO MOVE INTO THE VALLEY THANKS TO A STRONG STORM SYSTEM MOVING IN FROM THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY. HERE IS WHAT TO EXPECT FOR TONIGHT THROUGH MIDDAY TOMORROW. BEST CHANCE FOR RAIN ACROSS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE VIEWING AREA. ONLY LOOKING FOR A MINIMAL TRAFFIC DISRUPTION. IN TERMS OF SNOWFALL, HERE IS A LOOK AT THE PREDICTOR. LESS THAN INCH ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA. BE PREPARED FOR WIDESPREAD RAIN LIKELY TO ARRIVE LATE FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY.
