Man arrested in Topeka wanted on nationwide warrant

A man arrested in Topeka Monday morning was wanted on a nationwide warrant.
Topeka Police say they stopped Juan Sebastian De La Vega-King, 27, around 4 a.m. Monday morning on I-70 near the Adams St. exit for a traffic violation.
Officers searched the car after smelling marijuana. During the search, they found two stolen firearms, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
Vega-King was arrested and charged with being a fugitive from justice, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to
Vega-King was wanted on a nationwide warrant for possession of weapons by a drug offender, drug possession, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
