Arkansas bank robber nabbed in Junction City

A traffic stop in Junction City landed an alleged bank robber from Arkansas, in jail.

According to the Junction City Police Department, an officer spotted a grey Acura driving at excessive speed on I-70 around 2:45p.m. Thursday.

The officer stopped the car and made contact with 45-year-old Nathaniel Painter from Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.

After running his identification, they found out he was wanted out of Paragould, Arkansas on charges Bank Robbery.

They also found the cash from the bank robbery on him.

Painter was booked into the Geary County Detention Center without bond.
