Back to School continues, with students moving back into the on campus housing at Kansas State University.

Students were moving back on to campus this weekend, in preparation for the start of the fall semester.

Family, friends and volunteers were on hand to assist with hauling in clothing, decorations, and other essentials to make the rooms more like home.

Students who volunteered as part of the group Welcome Cats, were able to move in early so they could assist fellow students with the move-in process.

“Well, I think for us, move-in is just a, a great time to welcome people to K-State, and hopefully they have a good experience, we’re able to get into their rooms and set-up quickly, and they’re able to say their goodbyes to their families.” Kansas State University, Associate Director with Housing and Dining Services, Nick Lander says.

Wildcat Week of Welcome kicks off Saturday night with a Pancake feed at Memorial Stadium for students to enjoy along with inflatables, caricaturists, and yard games.
