City of Topeka to begin pre-treating streets tonight

Ahead of the potential for freezing drizzle, sleet, and snow this evening, the City of Topeka says crews will be getting ahead of the threat.

Spokesperson Molly Hadfield said the city will bring in a crew at midnight to respond to potential icing on bridges.

Hadfield said they will continue to monitor the situation and adjust their response level as needed.
