Convicted felon arrested after firing shots in Topeka home

A convicted felon is behind bars after firing shots at several people in a Topeka home Saturday night following a family dispute.

Just after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Topeka Police responded to gunshots in the 2300 block of SE Bellview.

An investigation revealed that after arguing with his family, Gleand Lee Brock III, 24, of Arkansas started firing shots at several people.

No one was hit by the gunfire.

Brock was located a short distance away from the scene and was arrested without incident.

He was booked on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, two counts of aggravated assault, a felony warrant in Arkansas, criminal damage, theft, and interference.

According to the TPD, this is the 17th arrest this year involving a felon in possession of a firearm.
