Man wanted in connection to Topeka drive-by shooting arrested in Wichita

A man wanted in connection to a drive-by shooting near a Topeka park on July 18th was located and taken into custody in Wichita Friday night.

The United States Marshals Service arrested 44-year-old Andre Wallace. Police believe he's connected to gunshots fired from a vehicle in the 3300 block of Southeast Irvingham -- that's near Betty Phillips Park.

No one was hurt, but some nearby homes were damaged.

Police say Wallace usually uses a wheelchair.
