The stretch of I-70 that was closed because of
involving a tanker truck got even longer during rush hour.
A three-vehicle crash at the SW MacVicar Ave. interchange forced eastbound drivers to start exiting at SW Gage Blvd. for about an hour.
The Interstate had been closed from MacVicar to the SE Deer Creek Tfwy. exit ramp for much of the afternoon. Around 7 p.m., officials re-opened the stretch from MacVicar to 1st Street. Both directions of I-70
by midnight.
