Kansas City's Vine Street Rumble Jazz Orchestra came to the Capital City to perform as part of the Topeka Jazz Concert Series.

The orchestra was formed to honor the legacy of the golden era of KC's jazz history.

Sunday afternoon at the Ramada, the 14-piece band performed music that made Kansas City such a popular jazz destination in the 30's and 40's.

The performers are dedicated to taking the audience back to the famous jam-sessions that changed the world of jazz.
