Lansing Correctional Facility hires new warden

Lansing Correctional Facility will soon have its first female warden.

The Kansas Department of Corrections announced Tuesday that Shannon Meyer will fill the role. She is currently the warden at Topeka Correctional Facility.

Meyer replaces Ron Baker, who is retiring.

She starts her new role August 25th.
