Shots fired as officers respond to fight at Topeka restaurant
No one was hurt after shots rang out in the parking lot of a Topeka restaurant early Saturday morning.
Topeka Police were on scene of a fight at Los Charros restaurant at SW Huntoon and Gage around 12:30am.
As the fight was breaking up, officers heard gunshots come from outside and called for backup.
After clearing the restaurant, they found no one hurt and determined none of their officers had fired.
Investigators found shell casings outside in the parking lot.
Police say no arrests have been made, and they are actively looking for information.
