Southeast Topeka house fire displaces 4 people

Fire officials believe improper disposal of smoking materials caused a house fire in southeast Topeka Wednesday morning.
Crews were called to a house fire at 3309 SE Adams. When they arrived they saw smoke coming from the single story home.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire, but three adults and one child were displaced.
TFD says the fire started in the garage, and caused around $24,000 in damages.
