People had the chance to come down to the Kansas Expocentre Saturday to get a glimpse at life on the road.

The Topeka RV show gives families a chance to step in RVs big and small and learn about what's inside.

The event has over 40,000 square feet of RV exhibits - but it isn't just for display.

The RV's are all for sale - dealers say it's a great way to try before you buy.

Olathe Ford RV General Manager Daryn Anderson said a big part of RV life is family experience.

"I think the biggest part of it's family. So often we're all in a hurry to do things other than being part of the family and when you go camping, you go to national parks of something like that, you have an opportunity to be with your family that's the memories that people cherish most," he said.

The event will kick back up from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
