A 72-year-old Topeka woman has died following a crash on U.S.-75, about halfway between Holton and Mayetta.

According to Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse, June Rockey of Topeka was pulling out of the One Stop Convenience Store at 190th Street. When her SUV was struck on the passenger side by a northbound truck, she died from her injuries.

The two people in the truck, from Iowa, were not hurt.

Sheriff Morse says there was a deadly crash at the same intersection last June.

Morse says Rockey was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
