Topeka woman pleads guilty in hit-and-run death

A Topeka woman pleaded guilty Friday to charges she hit a woman with her vehicle, killing her.
Alexis Nolte was convicted of reckless second degree murder, aggravated assault and leaving the scene of an accident involving a death. She originally faced a more serious charge of felony first degree murder.
Nolte was accused in the April 3rd death of Robin Kuebler in the 700 block of SW Western.
Witnesses say Nolte was driving an SUV that ran over Kuebler, then fled.
