Sex offender released from prison in Wisconsin

Wisconsin Department of Corrections has informed the Beloit Police Department that Richard A. Bronge, 58, was released from prison and effective, Tuesday, Jan. 14, is residing at 1216 Portland Ave. in Beloit, which is a temporary living placement location rented by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

Bronge was convicted in December 2018 on three counts of possession of child pornography. He possessed and shared approximately 16 child pornography videos involving young female victims, including a toddler.

Bronge remains on supervision until Jan. 15, 2024, and is required to register with the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry. He also will be on lifetime GPS monitoring.

Conditions of supervision include:

--No unsupervised contact with minors

--No contact with the victim(s)

--Not to consume drugs

--Comply with standard sex offender rules

--Cooperate with electronic monitoring

--Face-to-face contact with law enforcement

--Comply with all requirements and lifetime registration of the Wisconsin Sex Offender Registry
