Car crashes into Tropical Smoothie Cafe in East Lansing

A smoothie shop was damaged after a car crashed through a wall and window on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

The accident happened at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe located on 1201 East Grand River around 4:45 p.m.

East Lansing police say the driver was attempting to park and hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes.

No one was hurt.

The car has been removed.
