Jackson County wants residents to participate in strategic planning process
Jackson County has begun a strategic planning process.
The County Administrator/Controller's Office is in charge of strategic planning.
The office hopes to get input and ideas from Jackson County residents during the planning process.
It begins Tuesday with a commissioner participation only session.
This session will start at 5:30pm and will be held as the Cascades Manor House .
Even though it is a commissioner participation only session, the public is encouraged to attend.
For those county residents wanting to give their input, a county elected official, commissioner, and department head participation session will be held on Monday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jackson County Department of Transportation.
At this session, focus groups will be conducted by an outside consultant.
The aim will be to collect input and ideas, identify and analyze key challenges facing the county; and brainstorm ideas for building an ideal future in Jackson County.
