UPDATE: Lansing Police identify suspect in East Kalamazoo shooting

Lansing Police are investigating a shooting that happened Thursday evening. Police say they responded to reports of a shooting around 5:44 p.m. on East Kalamazoo Avenue in Lansing on Thursday, May, 28.

One female, 33, was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her legs.

The suspect is still at large. Police describe the suspect as a 40 year old mixed black/Hispanic, heavy set male wearing blue jean shorts, black T-shirt, and black hat. Anyone with details about the incident is urged to call Lansing Police at (517) 483-4600 or LPD Detective Bureau (517) 483-6814.
