Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the Revitalizing Auto Communities Environmental Response Trust are meeting Tuesday to discuss how to keep dangerous chemicals from getting into our drinking water.

Underground pollution at former General Motors sites is creeping toward BWL drinking water wells.

The sites are located on Saginaw Road in Lansing.

Tuesday's meeting is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

It will be held in the Lansing Township board room at 3209 W. Michigan Avenue.

Scientists and engineers contracted to work on this project will be in attendance.
