UPDATE: 3-vehicle crash caused by a driver failing to yield

Three people involved in a three-vehicle crash on Lansing's north side Thursday night have been upgraded to stable condition.

Two were listed as critical.

The crash happened at the intersection of East and Bates streets around 5:20 PM.

Lansing police told News 10 a pickup truck driven by a 26-year-old man, and two other vehicles were involved in the crash.

An car driven by a 54-year-old woman, pulled out of Gier Park, failing to yield, causing the crash.

The car hit the pick up which veered off and struck a Chevy Traverse head-on.

The cause of the crash is under investigation but police say no alcohol or drugs were involved.
