WE COOKE BRISKET, RIBS, TURKEY. HILLAR RYAN ATKINS IS HOSTING A FUNDRAISER FOR THE OFFICERS TO GO TO THE MEMORIAL AND SEE THEIR NAMES ENGRAVED ON THE WALL. >> THIS IS NOT A MONEYMAKING DAY FOR US. HILLARY: THE EVENT WAS PLANNED THREE MONTHS AGO AND THEY MADE SURE HIS FAMILY WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF. WE SEE ANOTHER OFFICER PASS AND WE WANT TO HELP. WE WANT TO EASE THE PAIN AND HELP THE COMMUNITY HEAL AND WE’RE TRYING TO GET EVERYBODY TO DO THAT. HILLAR THE FUNDRAISER RUNS FROM 11:00 TO 11:00 SATURDAY AND THERE WILL BE BADGES AND T-SHIRTS SOLD. Milwaukee restaurant to host fundraiser for fallen officers
A fundraiser being held at at Doc's Smokehouse Saturday to help raise money so that the families of those lost could take part in a special honor in the nation's Capitol. They could travel to Washington, D.C., in May to see their loved ones' names -- Charles Irvine Jr. and Michael Michalski -- added onto the National Law Enforcement Memorial. Officer Matthew Rittner's family will be helped, as well.You can take part in their efforts here.
