A Genesee County man is under arrest in connection to two incidents involving Medina Central School District.

Medina Police say 36-year-old Eric Mcgill is charged with disorderly conduct after he called school officials and threatened a disturbance to the high school last Thursday at 9:30 a.m.

School administration immediately contacted the Medina Police Department, Orleans County Sheriff’s District Attorney’s Office, New York State Police and Orleans County Sheriff’s Office.

Numerous officers were at the school when Mcgill arrived in the parking lot.

Officials say Mcgill left the school grounds without incident when they instructed him to.

Mcgill is also charged with making a terroristic threat after called and threatened to harm school officials on Monday.

He’s been taken into custody and arraigned in the Town of Shelby. His bail is set at $50,000 cash and $100,000 bond.

The Town of Shelby Justice Court issued an order of protection against Mcgill, prohibiting him from having any further contact with school officials and can no longer return to school grounds.

Mcgill is scheduled to return to court for further proceedings on June 20.
