Corey Small scored five goals and Thomas Hoggarth netted a hat trick to help power the Bandits to a season opening 17-15 win over the Philadelphia Wings on Saturday.
Buffalo improves to 1-0 overall and returns to KeyBank Center next Friday for it’s home opener against the Toronto Rock.
The Bandits jumped out a 5-4 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 11-9 at half behind three of Small’s goals in the second frame.

Tied at 15 in the fourth quarter with a little more than a minute to play in the game, Shawn Evans tallied what proved to be the game winner.
Steve Priolo added the final goal in the final seconds for Buffalo.
