Augusta Parade cancelled; Light Up Spectacular cancelled and rescheduled

NewsChannel 6 has learned that the Augusta Parade in downtown Augusta has been canceled because of the weather.

There’s no word on if it will be rescheduled for a later date.

We have also learned that the Light Up Spectacular tree lighting and firework show at the Common has been canceled.

That event has been rescheduled for next Friday, December 7.

NewsChannel 6 is working to find out what time that event will take place.
