The city of North Augusta looking to residents to help plan for the downtown area’s future.

The group, North Augusta Forward, has launched a survey asking people for their input prior to holding a public meeting on Wednesday, February 13th.  The meeting will discuss the incentives offered through the Main Street South Carolina program which North Augusta was accepted to last fall.  Each year, Main Street South Carolina picks communities who have applied for the program.

Those Palmetto State cities picked will see technical support and training to help restore downtown areas. Historically the improvements in those cities have brought new businesses, jobs and economic activity.  To take part in the survey, click here.
