Augusta and Clint Eastwood are now on the big screen.

There was a line waiting at the door at Riverwatch Cinemas today for the first showing   of the movie “The Mule.”

Many parts of the Eastwood  movie  were filmed right here in Augusta, bringing  out dozens who wanted to be the first  to see it.
” It’s pretty cool because on my street he actually filmed on my street between Watkins and Fenwick street so it’s exciting to have something here in Augusta to be able to see it and we wanted to  be one of the first ones,” said Mark Allen one of the first to arrive at the theater.

Private homes, churches  the Augusta history museum, and  Shaw’s  Day Lily garden are some of the locations that can be seen in the film
