We know the identity of the man killed in a shooting in Springfield Tuesday afternoon.

Springfield Police say Anthony Green of Alexander City, Alabama, was taken to a local hospital but died from his injuries.

Police said Green was at a work site and co-workers say he was not acting like himself. Witnesses told police Green went to his vehicle and grabbed a gun when the business owner, Travis Pressley, also from Alexander City, arrived at the site.

Police say Green confronted Pressley and told him, "I'm gonna put one in you." Witnesses say Green charged his pistol and pointed it at Pressley. They say Pressley drew his pistol and shot Green three times.

Police say both Green and Pressley have valid concealed carry permits.

Police say based on the facts of the case, no arrest has been made at this time. The State Attorney's Office will review the case.
