BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) – Emergency officials say one person suffered serious injuries after a pickup truck rear-ended a tractor-trailer.
It happened Thursday evening at the intersection of Old Airport Road and exit 7 onramp, according to the Bristol, Virginia Professional Firefighters Association.
The association says one person had to be extricated and transported to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.
No other details were released.
