A strong system could generate severe thunderstorms across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky on Thursday. 

The storm is right now creating severe weather for Oklahoma and Texas and heading our way tomorrow.

The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted our area in a “slight” risk (category 2 of 5). There is a threat for damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, frequent lightning, small hail, and even a possibility of an isolated tornado or two.

New computer model information shows that the timing of the storms could arrive Thursday afternoon and lasting into the night.
