Hodge's in downtown Cleveland to close by the end of the year

All employees will be relocated to other restaurants owned by the parent company.

CLEVELAND — A play on food truck fair from food pioneer Chris Hodgson, downtown restaurant Hodge's will close by the end of the year.

His partner Scott Kuhn confirmed the closure will occur sometime after Christmas once the restaurant's lease ends. But every closed door opens another, as its parent company Driftwood Restaurants and Catering tells 3News this makes room for a new restaurant downtown, set to open in the Playhouse district sometime soon.

No other details were provided on what will be coming. All Hodge's employees will be relocated to other restaurants.
