4 injured after head-on crash in Louisville's west end, police say
Four people were injured in an early morning crash in Louisville's west end, police said.Officials said the crash happened at 3:25 a.m. Sunday when a vehicle went the wrong way on the I-64 E ramp to I-264 E in the west end.The vehicle, which was occupied by one male driver, collided head-on with another vehicle. The driver of the vehicle traveling the wrong way was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said. Three people in the other vehicle were also hospitalized. Their injuries were non-life-threatening, police said. The investigation is ongoing and the LMPD traffic unit is investigating.The ramp was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
