What a morning for November. The lowest temperatures occurred where the snow was the deepest.
In Kentucky the coldest was at Henderson which is across the river from Evansville. Their low was 2 degrees.
In Indiana, -1 was the coldest at Crawfordsville and LaPorte.
Louisville tied a record low this morning with 16 degrees. The previous record was set in 1986. This followed yesterday's record for lowest maximum temperature for November 12.
By the way, in the mild winter of 2011-2012, the temperature the entire winter never got colder than 17 degrees.
Only 6 days last winter had a low temperature lower than this morning's 16 degrees in Louisville.
In Jefferson Co. the coldest was 8 degrees at Eastwood.
About 20% of the WLKY viewing area in Kentucky had a low in the single digits.
