Cooler weather is moving into the Ohio Valley and it looks like the Louisville area will not be in the 90's again for a while.
After this last blast of heat, it is time to update the 90 degree days totals for this year.

The last 90 degree day at South Bend, IN was July 20.
Bowling Green is just about the same distance south from Louisville as Indianapolis is to the north.

It is fair to say that the heat capital of the Kentucky and Indiana region is Louisville.
Nashville is number one for the whole region with 69 days in the 90's.
St. Louis which is almost always hotter than Louisville during the summer has only had 34 days in the 90's.
