The map above shows that the Storm Prediction Center has a SLIGHT RISK for severe storms today and tonight for all of southern Indiana and the northern counties of Kentucky. This includes Louisville.
The rest of Kentucky in the WLKY viewing area is in a MARGINAL RISK.
In the new mid-morning update, the SPC has increased the tornado risk for southern Indiana to 5%.
The SPC says a few tornadoes are possible in the 5% area either late afternoon or evening.
The Louisville area is in a limited 2% tornado risk for late today and this evening.

For damaging winds, the slight risk area is in a 15% chance and the marginal risk area is in a 5% chance.

For Sunday there is a MARGINAL RISK for the Louisville area. The NWS Louisville says this may be upgraded to a SLIGHT RISK.
